Drishyam 2: Triumph of a common man for the safeguard of the family

Book/Film Review- 10

The sequel of the film Drishyam ‘Drishyam 2’ is all set upon revealing the killer (Vijay) strategies in a way so that his strategy and skill would be proved as evidence. Police plot the scenes against Vijay (Ajay Devgan) to find out the clue and Vijay do everything for the safety of his family. How he works as a safeguard of his family and how police effort to catch him in the allegations of murder of the former IG’s (Tabu) son are the theme of the movie.

The film begins showing a scene of 7 years ago when a man flees after killing an another man and witnesses Vijay with a hoe at an under-construction police station in Goa. The man is only witness against Vijay that night. The story grows and scenes are congregated in a way to find the body remains of the former IG’s son. The body remains are found at the now-built police station but the police are unable to prove the remains are of the IG son.

Why police could not prove anything against  the hero (Vijay) and how Vijay recreated all days related to the incidents are filmed marvellously. His (Ajay Devgan) and his family acting are eye-catching. Akshaye Khanna as new IG also performs well and even side actors act without creating boredom. The film keeps the audiences hooked from beginning to the end. Scenes are logically shot and answer the the question why these are necessary at the moment and why not these should be filmed.

If the audiences ignore some average scenes like the new IG’s entry to Vijay house without notice and over-acting of Gaitonde, Director Abhishek Pathak showed his skills in this film. Some dialogues in the film keep their place in the public heart mind. Some of them are…

‘When a question comes to choose between heart and mind, I always prefer mind and I would do even today.’

‘Family is everything, and I will do anything for the safeguard of my family.’ And the audiences claps in support.

With this dialogue, the film gets ‘The End.’

A good thriller movie to watch…

Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya: an epicentre of mass awareness

November 10, 2022: Thursday

Each day is incepted with a great hope and an aspiration. No day is liable to criticism for holding despair. Because, it also opens with so many messages and experiences. The great author Charles Dickens wrote in his novel ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ that It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…that means the same day may be either good or bad.

Today is such a day. I was getting bored in the early morning. After taking two cups of coffee in an hour, I felt a continuous sleep. There was no way and I switched on the fan and off the light, went into the bed. It was 12 noon when I witnessed the sunlight. In half an hour, I planned to go zoo. But I changed my mood and wandered the recently inaugurated Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya.

Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya was earlier known as ‘Nehru Memorial Museum and Library’. After the renovation, it gets its new name and has become a splendid example of providing useful, needful and throwback informations of independent India.

The old building of the museum gets no change in its structure, but the content and information regarding the first Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru has totally been digitalised.

In the digital form, the message of the first President of India Dr Rajendra Prasad is listened. He was also the chairperson of the Constituent Assembly that was formed to write the Constitution of India so that the nation would be governed smoothly and accordingly.

The ground floor of the old building is revamped with the information of making the constitution and its important features and amendments. In the picture, it can be seen the Fundamental Rights that is added in the constitution as a safeguard of citizens’ rights and liberty. And, it can also be read here the constitution digitally in every language mentioned in the eighth schedule. This is marvellous work done by the Government of India for all people of different languages.

The ground floor also sheds light on Nehru as an architecture of Independent India. Here, all work done by him in nation building can be grasped. In video form, it can be listened how Sino-India war in 1962 was happened and be read how he built India with making engineering and medical colleges, dams and heavy industries.

The first floor of the old building is full of information regarding Nehru. Here all gifts he received are kept accordingly. Here are some of them.

The design of new building is pleasant and alluring. Before entering the new building, visitors can take a rest in Cafe.

Cafe is made in super classic view. Service is good. Cleanliness is up to mark. Taste of the recipe is apparently good. It can be observed that the wall of the cafe is decorated with Madhubani paintings.

The entrance of the new building opens with an automatic gate and the National Emblem welcomes the visitors. The pathway going to the main building is furnished with the quotes said by the Prime Ministers.

Next to the pathway, there was a unique artwork made with the balls. From the front, he was the 2nd Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, but by the side, there was only hanging balls. In this gallery, the speech delivered by Shastriji through AIR can be listened. An artwork representing ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’, quote said by him, can also be watched.

The very next corridor is embarked showing a huge Ashok Chakra. There are so many digital information and representations. The design never gets the visitors bored. Here, the journey of Agni Missile is shown and how it was developed is represented. The book ‘Agni Ki Udan’ written by former and late President Abdul Kalam Azad is a great source of its developing journey.

The gallery visits to the contribution of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who belonged to Bharatiya Janata Party that took the throne of Delhi for the first time in his era. Golden quadrilateral, a transport network, is shown as a major contribution by him. The same party also gives the current PM Narendra Modi for India’s throne.

There are so many reports of news papers that represent the account of the time. Congress victory in the 15th Lok Sabha elections is also represented.

In the ‘Anubhuti Section’ the visitors can send their messages digitally to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Here, lots of activity can be enjoyed like the flight of Mangalyaan and Chandrayan etc.

It was 5 o’ clock, and the time did not permit to stay there more. I, as a visitor, stepped out and took a selfie with the National Emblem. And, as a memory I also snapped the larger view of the old building and come out of the museum.

Now, I can say what I observed that it is a nice place to watch that creates euphoria to make the individual courageous and laborious. It is a centre of motivation and aspiration, and also in the digital form, it is an epicentre of creating mass awareness.
